Friction stir welding (FSW) enables metal parts to be firmly joined without melting by heating and plastic deformation using a rotating tool. The integration of this process in SW machine series is generally possible and offers increased efficiency through the combination with machining operations in machining centres.
Friction stir welding, also known as friction stir welding (FSW), enables metal parts to be firmly joined without melting by heating and plastic deformation using a rotating tool. The integration of this process in SW series is possible in principle and offers efficiency gains through the combination with machining operations in machining centers.
