BE-1 SW MACHINE OPERATION
SHORT DESCRIPTION
The objective of this course is to understand and practice the safe and effective handling of an SW machine and control system. The participants learn how to prepare and start the production process as well as how to identify and solve basic failures. The course utilizes simple operation tasks. Step-by-step procedures are provided as well.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
After the successful completion of this course, participants should be able to safely operate the machine in accordance to the intended use of the SW machine.
| Perform standard startup and shutdown procedures
| Perform a general machine inspection before production start
| Recognize basic faults and act upon them
| Recover from a work stoppage
| Load and start the proper working NC program
| Perform a program restart in the middle of a program

Prerequisites
Basic knowledge of CNC machine tools is beneficial but not mandatory
