Innovative solutions of intelligent automation and robotics. According to the organizers, more than 46,000 trade visitors flocked to the halls during the 4 days of the trade show.

SW Automation GmbH from Tettnang, a subsidiary of Schwäbische Werkzeugmaschinen GmbH (SW) in Waldmössingen, Germany, exhibited its latest innovative solutions in the field of intelligent automation and robotics at the world’s leading trade fair for automation and robotics last week.

According to the organizers, more than 46,000 trade visitors flocked to the halls of Messe München during the 4 days of the trade show.

The focus of the trade fair presentation was the SW competence of system automation. A driverless transport system was used to demonstrate material provisioning, followed by loading and unloading of the machining center with the aid of a 7-axis robot. The individual production processes as well as the material flow can be analyzed, visualized and optimized by means of a detailed computer simulation. This enables SW to develop the optimum, individual overall solution for customers.

Sven Makis, Managing Director of SW Automation, is very satisfied with the number of visitors and the course of the trade fair. The level of awareness of SW in the field of automation and assembly solutions is increasing noticeably, which was demonstrated by the significantly higher number of national and international visitors to the exhibition stand. Preparations are already in full swing for the next trade show highlight – the AMB in Stuttgart in September. Further trade show appearances are planned in the coming months in the USA, the Czech Republic and Italy.
