This training course provides basic knowledge on functional testing, simple diagnostics, and the safe operation of SW machining centers as part of basic maintenance. Participants will learn about the machine’s design, perform basic operating and testing procedures, and independently resolve simple malfunctions. An introduction to support from the SW Service Hotline and the use of SW Online Services rounds out the training.

Learning Objectives

Upon successful completion of this training, participants will be able to

  • ensure the availability of their SW machine,

  • perform functional checks independently and resolve simple faults,

  • systematically diagnose the sources of malfunctions,

  • work efficiently with SW Service Support.

Requirements
  • Vocational training as an industrial mechanic, industrial electrician, mechatronics technician or comparable professional experience Basic knowledge of CNC machine tools
