Motor Spindle Repair and Replacement
• Course Duration:
4 Days
• Max.
4 Participants
• Languages:
Deutsch, Englisch, Türkisch, Französisch
In this practice-oriented training course, participants acquire in-depth knowledge in troubleshooting, replacing, and commissioning motor spindles on SW machining centers.
The focus lies on practical work directly on the training machine, including measurements, data backup, and functional testing.
The objective is to sustainably increase machine availability — through quicker reaction times, reduced downtime, and greater independence from external service support.
Upon successful completion of this training, participants will be able to
identify and localize motor spindle faults quickly
resolve simple errors independently
perform the replacement of a motor spindle professionally
ensure full commissioning based on defined test procedures
thereby actively increasing overall machine availability
Maintenance technicians, service personnel, and machine maintenance staff
Vocational training as an industrial mechanic (with electrical qualification), industrial electrician, mechatronics technician, or comparable professional experience.
Basic knowledge of CNC machine tools.
Safety regulations and accident prevention when working on motor spindles
Structure and function of different spindle types
Mechanical and electrical design of the motor spindle
Control and monitoring functions
Replacement and commissioning based on checklist procedures
Geometry measurement to ensure machining accuracy
Diagnosis and troubleshooting of spindle faults
Spare parts and special tools for service and maintenance
Data backup and documentation
