The new Sfix system integrates application and system knowledge from SW with advancements in AI to offer significant improvement in the field of low and mid-size batch machining factories. The system automatically constructs a fixture using a library of flexible mechanical work holding elements and adjusts the level of the workpiece for machining. Autonomous programming makes automation affordable, which previously was not the case for low batches production. This eliminates the need for large quantity of fixture and setup time, significantly reducing investment and operational costs.<\/p>\n

Additionally, the Sfix system can be coupled with machines and system solutions from SW, thereby creating an optimum factory.<\/p>\n
